Green Design: UASHMAMA Bags

Now that you have to pay .10 cents for every bag at the store, it's about time I get serious about remembering my reusable shopping bags. Somehow, I ALWAYS forget about them. I imagine if I had these cute UASHMAMA (pronounced wash mama) bags, that would not be the case! They are paper bags that feel like leather and wash like fabric! The paper is actually stretched and tanned, much like leather, making it durable and strong. The come in 4 different sizes to fit all shopping needs! The best part is, they are sustainable and flatten down for easy storage!

The only thing is that they don't have handles. Which is kind of lame because it makes them less practical. But, who the hell cares? And, unfortunately, I've only seen them on Australian websites. If anybody has seen them available to U.S. residents, please, do share! I have faith. They're bound to come here. Bound. Because, I'm in love.
