Athena Calderone is an interior designer currently taking on her biggest project yet: her own Dumbo Penthouse in Brooklyn. She lives in this ridiculously gorgeous home with her husband and son. The thing that is most captivating about this home is the color palette. I love the gray used on the walls that can take on a more green or blue tone depending on the light. The mix of brass and gold details pop against the smoky colors and this KITCHEN IS INSANE. I love the modern cabinets, oversized tonal pendants and shapely bar stools.
This house is a great example of using a consistent color palette throughout each room without being boring. Athena uses shades of gray and blue continually, but every room has something new and interesting that catches your eye, whether it's art, texture, sculptural furniture or fixtures. The continuity makes the space feel larger, more refined, and calming. This is a House Tour for the books y'all.
