Cost Plus World Market New Arrivals!

Cost Plus World Market is one of my favorite sites to use when I'm working on projects for Copy Cat Chic. For one, they do knock-offs. Plain and simple they have furniture that looks exactly like expensive home brands like Restoration Hardware (who seems to be their knock-off victim more often than others) and Pottery Barn for a FRACTION of the cost. Plus, I love how kind of under-the-radar their home furnishings are. I mean, when I step into my local World Market, they don't have a huge selection of furniture in store, I peruse the jewelry, look at soaps and gifts, head for the wine aisle to stock up, and pick up Asian snacks and teas. Not your typical furniture store.

I often find myself AMAZED at their online selection of home goods and how chic and cheap they are! I guess this post was brought on by the fact that I'm always on the hunt for bigger pieces of furniture for rooms, and often overlook everything else, but they have some cute home decor too! Here are some new arrivals that I want in my house.

Hello almost-Pantone-color-of-the-year throw! They call you the Beryl Green Loft Lurex Throw and you're just perfect for 2013. ;)

I'm 5 feet. No quarter inch ways around it. My boyfriend is 6' 2''. You see why I need a ladder in the kitchen, right? To grab that pasta sauce that he's put away on the top shelf. Grrrrr. I've been looking for one at flea markets. I LOVE this Davis Accent Ladder. It's not for stepping, decorative use only. But I just love the zinc rungs and rustic wood. Buying! 

Again, been looking for an ornate frame to make into a chalkboard. World Market, are you reading my mind?? Shoot, this takes away all the work I would have to do! And for $40 bucks this Georgina Ornate Chalkboard is looking pretty tempting! It's perfect for the kitchen. 

I'm envisioning a wall of mirrors in my living room, or at least, one big mirror in the center. I might hold out on a vintage French mirror, but gold leaf this Gray Lachlann Mirror and it'll look like it came straight from Paris! I like it because it's not too ornate and the shape is gorgeous!
